Bill Coté began his real estate career four decades ago by creating the first of the
“boutique” real estate companies where he catered to high-net-worth individuals and couples. During that time as Owner/Broker of Coté Private Brokerage, he represented more than 150 CEO’s, Sports Agents, Professional Athletes, Authors and numerous Stage and Screen stars.
He has been involved in more than $1.5 Billion in real estate sales, having sold more than 300 waterfront homes including 150 at more than $3 Million.
He has been named in “Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate” for 27 consecutive years, a distinction few can lay claim to. Bill has been sought out as an expert witness in real estate valuation by the legal profession many times, having testified either in trial or deposition
more than 150 times and. continues to do so.
His education includes a law degree with honors from Western State University, College of Law and graduate school at Claremont Graduate School where he was mentored by Peter Drucker.
Bill also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of California at Irvine where he taught Real Estate Investment Analysis and Real Estate Law for 17 years.
Bill has maintained close relationships with his many clients over the years and it is not uncommon for him to now represent second and third generations of his client base. He is client based and maintains that clients always come first.
